Imagine never having to buy a first-class stamp again, or worrying about if you have enough postage when using old stamps. Sure, you might pay all your bills online and PayPal your brother $2% on his birthday, but at least once a year you are going to have to send your grandmother a birthday card in the mail. The USPS is introducing the Forever Stamp, a perpetual first-class stamp, along with a 2-cent increase in the price of a first-class stamp. If you have rolls and rolls of those cute 39-cent flower stamps sitting in your drawer right now, you can look forward to picking up a sheet of those aggravating 2-cent stamps to complement your now outdated stamp collection. There is a way to avoid this hassle, and maybe even having to buy another stamp, well, forever.

“Forever is composed of nows,” wrote Emily Dickinson, and when the USPS rolls out its 41-cent forever stamp on April 12, this stamp will mail you a first-class letter to Grandma now or anytime in the future. Does it make wise economic sense to hoard of bunch of these stamps now? What does forever really mean? What will these stamps look like? What will this do to collector stamps? The answer to these questions and a bevy of other topics will be discussed right here at ForeverStamps.com
