Rate Changes Less Than 1 Week Away

This is just a friendly reminder that postal rates will be changing on May 14, 2007. Most noticeably, the cost of mailing a one ounce or less first-class letter will be raised 2 cents to 41 cents. If you have some 39 cent at home, you better use them up. If you are stuck with some 39 cent stamps after May 13, you will need to purchase some supplemental 2 cent stamps. Consider purchasing some Forever Stamps, they cost 41 cents, but they will be good forever, despite future postal increases. Forever Stamps are available at your local post office, online and at thousands of ATM locations across the country.
