The Forever Stamp will be available on April 12th, just ahead of the May 14th date when the first-class stamp will rise to 41 cents.

How long will the public be able to buy “forever” stamps?

There has not been an announced deadline when the USPS will suspend the sale of Forever Stamps. It’s believed the Forever Stamp will be a permanent option for postal customers. There is some speculation the USPS may suspend the sale of $0.41 Forever Stamps upon the announcement of the next price hike, to prevent a “run” on the stamps at the old price.
